"We spent four most enjoyable days in Villa Casamenara which for us represented excellent value for money, (we had the entire villa to ourselves at a very reasonable rate). We had the extra confidence of knowing that all our valuables would be in safe during the day, as during our visit, there was a full time security guard on duty throughout the four days.

On arrival at the airport we were met by Imad, the villa manager, who provided us with all the essential information we required for our trip, information on golf courses, where to visit and valuable advice on the best places to socialise during our stay. Perhaps the best advice we got was the offer of a dedicated driver for the duration of our stay. This was completely optional but my advice is for anyone staying in the villa to avail of Mokhtar Ben Tbib, the driver we used for the duration of our stay.

Why?
• He was always at hand 24/7 (even at 03.00am when we needed to return to the villa after a late night socialising!).
• We saved a lot of money in taxi fares as the villa is located on the outskirts of the city.
• He offered great advice on where to go, brought us on a quick orientation tour of Marrakech on the way from the airport to the villa (stopped at a supermarket to stock up!).
• And overall, he is a wonderful person! - He ended up being more like an older brother than a taxi driver!
Imad also dropped in on us most days just to check and ensure everything was going well.

My overall impressions?

I would certainly recommend Villa Casamenara if you're planning a visit the Marrakech, in my opinion, it's ideal for visitors such as ourselves or couples wishing to enjoy the splendors Marrakech has to offer.
The description of the villa is accurate on the web site, although the garden and kitchen area could do with a bit of upgrading.

We are currently planning a return visit and without hesitation will be booking Villa Casamenara again!

"We were quite happy with Casamenara. It was nice, clean, and ideal for 3 guys. The service was top notch. Reliable, accommodating and efficient. 5 out of 5. Breakfast was perfect for me and should be part of the deal or mentioned that it is available at a fixed cost. You should also state that the Casa is between 10-15 minutes from the center (Medina) and that a Taxi can always be arranged from the staff between MAD 50-80. Somehow let it be known that the Casa Menara is an ideal place for guests (bachelors) to have the same freedoms of rented apartment but with the feeling of a (simple) Raid. we are talking about making a yearly trip to Marrakech, and we would definitely stay at the Casamenara."

"My fiancé and I stayed at Casamenara for three days during Christmas. It was a wonderful experience. The villa is located just few minutes from center Marrakech but yet light years from all the noise of the city. Very quiet, very pleasant place. I would recommend to rent the whole place to fully enjoy your stay. It is really a beautiful oasis in Marrakech. I always rent a room in a Riad in the Medina, but now that I found this place, it is going to be my new "home" in Marrakech."

"My family and I had a great stay at Casa Menara. Good location outside the buzz of the city. The villa is very well designed and very well furnished. Great garden and patio areas. More importantly the staff is first class. Imad is such a gentle, helpful and generous person. Abdullah, the guard, cook, and server, can do marvels. And last but not least Amina was a great help with our kids. Overall we had some nice memories because everything was just perfect. We will definitely be back to this oasis."

"We stayed here for two weeks in July 2008. The villa was located about 15mins drive form the airport and is 5mins drive from the Medina. It has nice size rooms and my wife and five children all stayed comfortably. "
